Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Backend Developer with expertise in Java, Spring Framework , and Cassandra . This role focuses on building robust backend systems, ensuring high performance, and writing clean, testable code. If you have hands-on experience writing JUnit test cases and working with distributed databases, we’d love to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize backend APIs and services using Java and Spring Boot .
Work with Cassandra to design and manage scalable, distributed data storage solutions.
Write comprehensive JUnit test cases to ensure code quality, coverage, and performance.
Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integration with backend services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve system performance.
Ensure best practices in coding standards, version control (Git), and Agile development workflows.
Design RESTful APIs for integration with third-party services and front-end applications.
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in backend development using Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
Proficiency in designing and querying Cassandra for scalable, distributed databases.
Hands-on experience writing and executing JUnit test cases for unit testing.
Experience with RESTful web services development and API integrations.
Familiarity with tools like Git , Maven/Gradle , and Agile development methodologies.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize backend systems for reliability and performance.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes .
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for backend deployment.
