Who We Are:

A Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team at Tejas Networks, focusing on the Wireless side, would be involved in managing the development, deployment, and maintenance of wireless communication products. Their work includes coordinating product design, optimizing performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and overseeing product updates throughout its lifecycle to meet customer and market needs effectively. They also work on integrating new technologies and improving the efficiency of wireless networks.


What You Work:

As a Product Line Manager will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will oversee the complete team performance, take care of appraisals, manage resources, and drive project execution. Also, you will mentor managers, foster innovation, handle stakeholder communication, and ensure the delivery of high-quality results on time.

Product Ownership: 4G and 5G RAN products:

1.Creating and maintaining product roadmap from Market and R&D requirement till end of life in line with Solution expectations,.

  • Communicating progress against the product roadmap and keeping stakeholders informed of updates through Product Category Reviews.
  • Product Total Cost and related competitiveness actions with all metrices involved.
  • Recurrent, development and sustaining cost improvement plan (Re-factoring, M/B Re-sourcing, Product REX).
  • Governance to manage all Product data information (Catalogue/Datasheet /User Manual) and Key Performance Feature.

2.Co-ordinate with engineering teams to make sure product roadmap features are met and track product general availability to the customer.

Customer Engagement for all Tejas Wireless products:

  • work with sales and presales teams to carry out initial product solution document, RFP responses, BoQ of solution for each customer engagement.
  • Co-ordinate and carry out initial customer engagement as product manager including carrying out PoC, pilots of Tejas wireless products.

Go-to-Market Planning:

  • Develop product messaging that resonates with the day-to-day challenges have, and how they try to address them.
  • Enable the sales team with the right training, tools, and information to close deals.
  • Build and own the customer engagement plan, partnering with fellow leaders to create a coherent business plan that prioritizes and customizes a dev engagement mix of social, digital, and one-to-many experiential activities, in alignment with the Corporate strategy and plan.


Mandatory skills:

  • 7 to 12 years of experience marketing to developers, with a proven track record of building technical relationships within the Telecom Operators and OEMs.
  • Passion for technology and a background working in the Wireless communications products and related technology (minimum of 2 years)
  • Demonstrated technical experience across Radio Access Network (RAN), 3G/4G/5G technologies.
  • Deep insight about the Telecom and mobile infrastructure eco systems and business trends
  • Experience Business development and wireless customer interactions including handling of RFP/RFQ process.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and team building, decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and follow through


Desired Skills:

  • Results driven; with exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication.
  • Product management competencies/skills & experience, including analytical skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7 to 12 yrs experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
  • Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE) or any other equivalent degree. Degree in Electronics / Computer science Engineering and MBA preferred (depending on level).
