Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement food safety policies, procedures, and protocols.

2. Conduct regular hygiene audits and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

3. Collaborate with hotel teams to ensure proper food handling, storage, and preparation practices.

4. Review guest complaints with regard to food & hygiene and analyse root cause and initiate corrective actions

5. Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 22000 (Food Safety), ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) management systems across the hotel chain.

6. Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

7. Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation, including policies, procedures, and records.

8. Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting.

9. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

10. Manage FSSAI licenses and permits required for hotel operations.

11. Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with quality assurance policies and procedures.

12. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

13. Develop and deliver quality assurance training programs for hotel staff.

14. Ensure that staff are aware of and understand quality assurance policies and procedures.

15. Identify areas for improvement and implement quality assurance initiatives.

16. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance systems.


 Qualification & Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree Food Science, or related field.

2. Certified Quality Assurance Professional (CQAP) or equivalent certification.

3. 8 +years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the hospitality industry.

4. Strong knowledge of ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.


Desirable Skills:

1. Experience with quality assurance software and systems.

2. Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

3. Certification in food safety or hygiene (e.g., HACCP, Food Safety Certification).

4. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and best practices.
