Associate Director- Financial Planning and Analysis

ResponsibilitiesProvide financial analysis to business unit management.Support financial decision and budget processDrive strategic business decision making through detailed analytics, insights and Real-Time reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial resultsDemonstrated ability to present and provide meaningful business insights from data, not just produce reportsIdentify areas for improvement, increased sales and cost optimization opportunities through various analysis, comparative analytics, statistical and data mining techniquesCollect and analyze large data sets from internal systemsModel data for ad hoc and pre-built reportingParticipate in strategic and tactical planning discussions interface with executive management, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutionsDefine, retrieve, and analyze large datasets using Excel + SQL to drive and define operational solutions and approachesDrive continuous improvement in financial modelling and analysis to enhance decision-making.Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.Assist in the development of long-term financial strategies and business plans.Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their financial impact.Presenting findings to business leaders at all levels, including senior managementUtilize advanced analytics tools to analyze financial and operational data.Create dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights.
Pre- Requisites that will make you successful at this RoleSkill Set10 to 12 years of experience in Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or Business Analysis/Analytics and should possess good accounting acumenExperience in forecasting, analysis and comprehensive business reporting to provide accurate and insightful recommendationsThe ability to think strategically and implement methods to ensure procedures is completed at the highest standardAble to build solid internal and external relationships at all levelsMust possess a client-service mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projectsStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentData Analysis and ToolsVery good exposure to accounting, financial reporting and BI toolsProficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint a mustExpert-level knowledge of using Tableau or similar Data visualization tools a big plusVery good exposure to accounting, financial reporting and BI toolsPrepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.Persona for the RoleOutstanding writing and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire, and motivate others. Summarize key insights for technical and non-technical audiencesA keen eye for detail is requiredProven ability to work under pressure with deadlinesComfortable working in a fast paced, startup environmentAbility to deal with ambiguity
