Job Responsibilities :

Overall civil and structural system selection and design. Ensure all required inputs are incorporated in Design basis manual for new projects. Plan and execute in-house engineering for projects including SOW, SOR, Specifications, Drawings (plot plan, grading plan, foundation drawings, building layout plans etc.), Data sheets, Calculations and analysis incl. scour depth, Bathymetric survey, Slope protection, Bank protection, RoU stabilization etc. Coordinate with engineering consultant for basic/detailed engineering. Ensuring engineering complies with latest Codes, Standards, Regulations and Company standards. Provide inputs to various disciplines and ensuring incorporation in relevant deliverables. Obtain inputs from other disciplines, wherever required, and incorporate in engineering. Management of Change (MOC) document for any change in engineering documents post IFC. Coordinate with Audit teams and manage liquidation of audit points. Liaison with P&C department for RFQ/Tender issuance, TQs, TQ responses, TBE and order placement duly synchronized with Project schedule. Ensure timely review and approval of vendors/ contractors# deliverables to facilitate timely fabrication/ execution. Expediting with vendors to ensure timely delivery of material to project warehouse. Coordinate with Site team and Warehouse personnel for material inspection and GRN preparation. Provide technical inputs/ assistance to site teams for installation works. Review and approval of as-built documentation of IFC drawings and vendor deliverables. Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Report. Carry out value engineering.

Education Requirement :

BE/ B-Tech in Civil and Structural Engineering.

Experience Requirement :

Minimum 12 years design and engineering experience in Oil & Gas Industry with minimum 8 years in consulting OR EPC Company having Design & Engineering capability.

Skills & Competencies :

Demonstrable experience in Civil and Structural engineering for projects related to pipeline and associated facilities. Conversant with all relevant Codes & Standards and Statutory regulations related to Civil, and Structural Engineering viz. PNGRB, OISD, National Building Code, Indian Road Congress, Indian Standard etc. Knowledge of Geotechnical engineering and fire protection requirement. Working experience with software such as Staad Pro, PDMS, AutoCAD etc. Must have analytical, problem-solving and independent decision making skills. Ability to independently carry out varied assignments that may require modification of standard procedures. Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
