Job Description:
As a Business Development Executive , you will be responsible for generating new business leads through various online platforms, conducting initial discussions with potential clients, and supporting the senior sales team in converting leads into business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate leads through online portals (LinkedIn, Upwork, Freelancer, etc.) and other relevant platforms.
Conduct initial discussions with prospective clients to understand their business needs and align them with our solutions.
Qualify leads by gathering detailed information about client requirements, timelines, and budgets.
Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and other business development materials.
Maintain and update the CRM system with lead details, follow-up activities, and progress.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth transitions from lead generation to client onboarding.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
Support the senior sales team in managing ongoing client relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients and explain solutions effectively.
A proactive and results-driven approach to lead generation and sales.
Familiarity with online lead generation platforms such as LinkedIn, Upwork, and others.
Basic understanding of the IT industry.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to grow within the company.
