Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain DuckDB-centric platforms with Kubernetes on AWS.
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of cloud-based applications.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance measures.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using AWS CDK, Terraform, and Helm Charts.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with Argo CD and Git.
  • Implement and optimize Kafka event streams for real-time data processing.
  • DevOps automation and observability using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.


Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
  • Proficiency in Python and at least two other languages (Go, JavaScript, or Java).
  • Strong understanding of distributed SQL databases and cloud networking.
  • Experience with Docker, WASM, and Kafka event streams.
  • Proficient in using GitOps methodologies for infrastructure management.
  • Experience with MLOps and data orchestration tools.
  • Strong knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
