Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Define, implement, and maintain QA processes, test strategies, and best practices.
  • Plan, design, and execute test cases (manual and automated) for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality releases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Drive test automation initiatives and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and security testing is part of the QA process.
  • Provide regular reports and metrics on QA progress, coverage, and quality status.
  • Continuously evaluate tools and processes to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
