Job Title: Social Media Marketing Intern

About the role:

We're looking for a creative and camera friendly Social Media Marketer who thrives on social trends, storytelling, and digital engagement. While the role includes core responsibilities like planning, scheduling, and managing social media content, a major focus will be on creating and shooting engaging short-form videos (featuring yourself) for platforms such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute social media strategies to grow engagement and reach.
  • Ideate, film, and edit short and long form video content regularly, featuring yourself on-camera.
  • Write compelling copy for posts, captions, and video scripts that align with brand voice.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, audio, formats, and challenges.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide regular insights.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team on content calendars and campaign planning.
  • Maintain consistent branding across all platforms.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable and confident being on camera - this is essential, as you will regularly create video content featuring yourself.
  • Skilled in video creation and editing using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or InShot.
  • Strong copywriting skills for social media captions, hooks, and scripts.
  • Solid understanding of audience engagement and platform-specific best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with attention to visual details and storytelling.
