Job Description

Role Summary

Financial Control is responsible for directing the organizations accounting functions and areas of focus

Main Tasks

Controls and understands the changes in the sales structure as well as the changes in pricing (LTAs, Savings on current business, bonus).Provides regular information to his business partners (reports, analyses, etc.) to get an understanding of current developments compared to Plans and Forecasts).Performs customer development checks as well as status reports.Understands in general the market and customer development (incl. pricing, strategy and future the profitability of the customers and productsMaintains the “loss order reserve”Drives improvement activities (increase margin).Maintains all relevant KPIs as per MH StandardsDetermine and execute action plans to improve the financial performance if the business is not performing to plan, prepare financial forecasts and provide analysis of the resultsManage the financial forecasts, planning, analysis activities and projects; provide evaluations, prepare the reports and make recommendations about the financial implications of the proposed investments and transactions (follow the M+H CapEx procedures)Interpret the financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues and make recommendations for improvements

Standard CostingManage product costing, in terms of capacity planning, cost center accounting, internal orders, tariffs and routings as well as the product cost development and follow-up actionsCreate, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibilityUnderstand the standard costs and revaluations on account levelCost AccountingAnalyze the cost records and the calculation of the unit cost for the products or services related to a specific job or project; examine any costs that seem contrary to past experiencePrepare and emit the statistical reports for the comparison of costs and for the determination of the profitability of the product and analyze the resultsManage a consolidated annual budget plan, establish and coordinate the budgeting systems and procedures; identify and analyze the variationsMonitor and review the actual financial performance against the budget, prepare and emit the statistical reports for the comparison between the current situation and the budgeted forecastCreate, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibility

Short Description

Material ControllingControls all developments for material.Understand, report and forecast/ plan material price developments in order to derive a P&LControl supplier agreements and link the impacts to the P&LPrepare and maintain all related reserves (supplier pricing issues, material, packaging, etc.)Understand and development the KPIsDerive market impacts on location / BU level (for actual, planning and forecasting)Develop and optimize currents reporting standardsPartner for offers in terms of materialPricingCoordinate with the Product Controlling regarding the start of production

R&D ControllingSteer and control R&D budgets and projects (investments, hirings, spending,)Report the spending, project development and give an outlook on project levelSupport management in order to detect back logs and financial riskCreate and implement a project overview toolSupport the BUs for budgeting, planning and forecastMaintains all relevant KPIsOverhead ControllingControls the status and the development of spending, investments and hirings in OH departmentsReports the financial impact for the P&L and BS by cost types, cost centers and internal ordersSupport the business to help steering the business and derive the right decisionsMaintains all relevant KPIs

Your Profile

ICWA or CA or other relevant field of education with specialization in Finance and Controlling areas in a multinational Company Automotive component mfg added advantageMin. 5-7 years of relevant work experienceMS Office skillsSAP skillsFluency in English written and spoken
