  • Role Summary
  • Financial Control is responsible for directing the organizations accounting functions and areas of focus
  • Main Tasks
  • Controls and understands the changes in the sales structure as well as the changes in pricing (LTAs, Savings on current business, bonus).
  • Provides regular information to his business partners (reports, analyses, etc.) to get an understanding of current developments compared to Plans and Forecasts).
  • Performs customer development checks as well as status reports.
  • Understands in general the market and customer development (incl. pricing, strategy and future the profitability of the customers and products
  • Maintains the "loss order reserve"
  • Drives improvement activities (increase margin).
  • Maintains all relevant KPIs as per MH Standards
  • Determine and execute action plans to improve the financial performance if the business is not performing to plan, prepare financial forecasts and provide analysis of the results
  • Manage the financial forecasts, planning, analysis activities and projects; provide evaluations, prepare the reports and make recommendations about the financial implications of the proposed investments and transactions (follow the M+H CapEx procedures)
  • Interpret the financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues and make recommendations for improvements
  • Long Description
    Standard Costing
  • Manage product costing, in terms of capacity planning, cost center accounting, internal orders, tariffs and routings as well as the product cost development and followup actions
  • Create, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibility
  • Understand the standard costs and revaluations on account level

Cost Accounting

  • Analyze the cost records and the calculation of the unit cost for the products or services related to a specific job or project; examine any costs that seem contrary to past experience
  • Prepare and emit the statistical reports for the comparison of costs and for the determination of the profitability of the product and analyze the results
  • Manage a consolidated annual budget plan, establish and coordinate the budgeting systems and procedures; identify and analyze the variations
  • Monitor and review the actual financial performance against the budget, prepare and emit the statistical reports for the comparison between the current situation and the budgeted forecast
  • Create, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibility
Short Description
Material Controlling

  • Controls all developments for material.
  • Understand, report and forecast/ plan material price developments in order to derive a P&L
  • Control supplier agreements and link the impacts to the P&L
  • Prepare and maintain all related reserves (supplier pricing issues, material, packaging, etc.)
  • Understand and development the KPIs
  • Derive market impacts on location / BU level (for actual, planning and forecasting)
  • Develop and optimize currents reporting standards
  • Partner for offers in terms of material
  • Pricing
  • Coordinate with the Product Controlling regarding the start of production
Short Description
R&D Controlling

  • Steer and control R&D budgets and projects (investments, hirings, spending,)
  • Report the spending, project development and give an outlook on project level
  • Support management in order to detect back logs and financial risk
  • Create and implement a project overview tool
  • Support the BUs for budgeting, planning and forecast
  • Maintains all relevant KPIs

Overhead Controlling

  • Controls the status and the development of spending, investments and hirings in OH departments
  • Reports the financial impact for the P&L and BS by cost types, cost centers and internal orders
  • Support the business to help steering the business and derive the right decisions
  • Maintains all relevant KPIs


 Your Profile
  • ICWA or CA or other relevant field of education with specialization in Finance and Controlling areas in a multinational Company Automotive component mfg added advantage
  • Min. 57 years of relevant work experience
  • MS Office skills
  • SAP skills
  • Fluency in English written and spoken
