 Senior Database Administrator (DBA)

 Mid to Senior (5+ Years)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 
Senior Database Administrator (DBA)
 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5+ years of experience managing and supporting enterprise-level databases, with a strong focus on 
PostgreSQL (including YugabyteDB)
 and 
Oracle
. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our database systems across multiple environments.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 
5 years of experience
 as a Database Administrator.

Hands-on experience with 
PostgreSQL
 and 
YugabyteDB
 (or strong interest and ability to learn Yugabyte).

In-depth experience with 
Oracle Database Administration
 (including RAC, ASM, Data Guard).

Strong SQL and PL/SQL scripting skills.

Experience with database backup and recovery strategies and tools.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with database automation tools and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Shell, Python).

Certification in Oracle or PostgreSQL a plus.

Prior experience supporting hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
