What you'll bring:Advanced experience in Java, MySQL, and cloud technologies (AWS).Advanced experience in Web Technologies: XML, JSON, Hibernate, Spring Boot, REST, MySQL, Spring MVC, AWS, Angular, proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and build tools such as Maven. Familiar with monitoring tools like Splunk.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java.Knack for writing clean, readable Java code.Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud).Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.Practical cloud native experienceExperienced in monitoring the application using Splunk and Cloudwatch.Proficient with Agile methodologies and managing the Scrum and Jira boards for project deliverables.Ability to lead and groom team members, review and recommend coding and design best practicesUses secure coding practices, builds performant, secure and scalable application code and solutionsAdept at estimations, tracking delivery commitments using agile practices aligning with supporting metricsOwns delivery and release responsibility for commitmentsWrites quality documentation for technical and functional specifications and as per quality and standard processesAdheres to industry best practices and processesExperience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
