The purpose of this role is to manage and mentor DevOps teams and be subject matter experts in DevOps practices and tooling with a track record of designing and delivering large-scale, highly available systems.

Job Title:DevOps Manager

Job Description:Key responsibilities:Line management and technical leadership of a team of DevOps engineers (onshore and offshore), act as a mentor to develop their skills and a coach to guide themCollaborates closely with leads in other Technology functions to deliver secure, reliable, robust and scalable solutionsIdentifies and implements DevOps engineering best practices in conjunction with your peers, both within Data Engineering and Technology as a wholeEnsures the use of continuous delivery pipelines and tools to fully automate deployment, testing, delivery and management of development, QA and production systems on a variety of cloud platformsTroubleshoots and takes ownership of issues in our development, test and production environments, including performance optimisation and continuous tuningContinuous learning and evaluation of the latest approaches, tools and technologiesContinually collaborates, inspires and thinks outside of the box to conceive of, and build, solutions to place the business ahead of the curve and be a leading contributor to DevOps innovationMust HaveA Microsoft certified professional in365 Marketing Functional Consultant AssociateIt is anticipated the candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.Experience implementing/ maintaining Dynamics 365 Marketing, Sales and ideally Customer Insights projects, from implementation to QA and handover (either as an external agent or in-house) for two or more separate organization implementations.Experience of working in Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for Agile/SCRUM environments, including deployment through DevOps pipelines.Hands on development and deployment experience of Plugin development (JavaScript, C#, HTML), Custom Workflows and Web resources.Power platform knowledge, specifically Power Apps and Solution Patching.It is essential to have experience of working with the Microsoft Dataverse particularly custom entities.A technical background either, bachelor’s, master’s degree, or work in a similar field.Good presentation and verbal skills with technical and non-technical audiences with the ability to interact with people of varying backgrounds, technical abilities, languages, and cultures.Ability to adapt in a dynamic working environment, learn quickly and solve problems.Able to interpret technical and business objectives and needs, with attention to detail.Nice to HavePower Automate and Business Process Flows.Power Platform administration knowledge, including security roles and rules, duplicate detection and deploying Post State Management xml changes would be beneficial.A general programming knowledge, including, Data types, Object oriented structures, Operators, Conditionals, Inheritance, DOM, JSON, RESTful APIs would be advantageous.An understanding of databases, data warehouses, data lakes, data modelling, data integration, structured/unstructured data and ETL concepts would be a bonus.
