Job Title - Technical Architect - Power BI

Job Location - Pune, Maharashtra (offers Remote friendly work option)

They have provided core product development for 110+ startups across the globe building products in the cloud-native, data engineering, B2B SaaS & Machine Learning space. Their team of 400+ elite software & DevOps engineers solve hard technical problems while transforming customer ideas into successful products.


Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Power BI Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business intelligence, data visualization, and data analytics, with a specific focus on Microsoft Power BI.

As a Power BI Architect , you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust Power BI solutions to meet the needs of our clients.


Key Responsibilities : -

  • Design, develop, and implement Power BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  • Lead the architecture and design of end-to-end BI solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Optimize and enhance existing Power BI reports and dashboards for better performance and usability.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BI developers and analysts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve our BI capabilities.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights to support business decision-making.
  • Integrate Power BI with other data sources and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to BI architecture, processes, and solutions.
  • Lead and manage the migration of BI solutions from Qlik to Power BI, ensuring data integrity, performance, and user adoption.


Qualifications:-

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and database design.
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable and high-performance BI solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with migration projects from Qlik to Power BI is highly desirable.
