Position: ServiceNow Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and a strong background in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. You will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow applications, ensuring seamless integration with other systems, and delivering exceptional solutions that enhance business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with process owners to gather and analyze requirements for configuration data and develop technical specifications.
- Design and implement workflows to automate business processes, using ServiceNow's capabilities.
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Create and manage ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalogs.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to organize and lead Daily Scrum Sessions, Sprint Planning Meetings, and Sprint Review Meetings.
- Develop and maintain custom scoped applications and enhance the Service Portal experience through widget customization and responsive design.
- Create reports and dashboards to track and visualize key performance indicators.
- Document solutions, configurations, and customizations for ongoing support and maintenance.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers on best practices in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL standards and processes related to IT Service Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- ITIL V3 Foundation and ServiceNow CSA certification are required.
- Proven experience in the ServiceNow ITSM suite, particularly in incident, problem, change management, and service catalog modules.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and Glide Script.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and defect prevention processes.
Technical Skills:
- ITSM Tools: ServiceNow ITSM
- Languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Glide Script
- Methodologies: Agile, ITIL
- Operating Systems: UNIX, Linux (RHEL 6), AIX (6.1 & 7.1), Windows (2008 & 2012)
- Network Services: TCP, NFS, FTP, SSH, WMI, SNMP
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in IT, with a focus on ServiceNow development and IT Service Management.
- Experience in designing and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications.
