Rotimatic is a modern kitchen appliance brand that is working on a unique category & needs space for fully automating flatbread making process. The product has received a lot of love from its 1,00,000+ users and has grown basis word of mouth & strong consumer value proposition. The product is particularly relevant for the NRI audiences who live away from family and do not have access to a cook.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance operations. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and procedures to ensure product excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Please note this role will be based in Mysuru.

Key Responsibilities:1. Quality System Development and MaintenanceDevelop and implement quality management systems (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.Maintain and improve quality control processes to meet industry standards and regulations.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.Have Capacity to Implement 3Sigma/4Sigma/6Sigma

2. Product Quality AssuranceOversee the inspection and testing processes for raw materials, components, and finished products.Implement and manage quality control procedures, ensuring that all products meet specified quality standards before shipment.Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product defects and process non-conformities.

3. Process ImprovementIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.Use statistical tools and techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC) to analyze quality data and drive process improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.

4. Supplier Quality ManagementEvaluate and qualify suppliers to ensure they meet company quality standards.Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier performance to ensure the consistent supply of high-quality materials and components.Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements and scorecards.

5. Customer SatisfactionAddress and resolve customer complaints and quality issues in a timely and effective manner.Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve product quality and customer satisfaction.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer satisfaction and product quality.

6. Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate and comprehensive quality records, reports, and documentation.Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.Ensure proper documentation of all quality processes, procedures, and improvements.

Qualifications:BE/BTech Mechanical/Production/Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Premier Institute (NIT/Top 50 NIRF Ranking Institute)Should have done at least 2-3 Projects during EngineeringEngineering through JEE Route will be Preferred.Prior Experience with commodities like Plastic/Sheet Metal/PDC/Wiring, Harness/Electronics-EMS etc is mustMust have Customer view on Products dispatched from the FactoryMinimum of 12-15 years of experience in quality management within the electronics/automotive industry.Experience in setting up quality systems for multiple products from scratch an absolute must.Proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality management systems.Proven track record of ownership and driving significant improvements in product quality.Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards an absolute must.The position requires to be based at an external manufacturing facility.

Skills:Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC).Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Certifications:Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is a plus.
