Position Overview: Spiro is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and expansion of our Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions. In this pivotal role, you will define the product vision, drive the roadmap, and deliver impactful business intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders, to create insightful dashboards that address user needs and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Power BI dashboards, ensuring alignment with Spiro's overarching business goals.
Gather, analyze, and prioritize stakeholder requirements through market research, user feedback, and data analysis.
Collaborate with data engineering, BI developers, business analysts, and digital product teams (e.g., O&M, DMS, FMS) to define technical specifications and ensure seamless data integration.
Work with digital product leads to collect market feedback on business metrics, ensuring dashboards adapt to changing business needs.
Integrate cybersecurity best practices into dashboard development and data handling processes to ensure data integrity and security.
Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, on-time solutions.
Lead the launch of new dashboards, including user onboarding, training, and driving adoption across the organization.
Continuously monitor dashboard performance and user engagement, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring sustained value delivery.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for Power BI usage, adoption, and business impact.
Apply best practices in data visualization, UX design, and storytelling to create clear, actionable dashboards.
Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and release notes.
Stay abreast of Power BI advancements and emerging business intelligence trends, driving continuous improvement of the product.
Technical & Domain Expertise:
Deep technical expertise in Power BI and data visualization best practices.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL.
Experience integrating Power BI with a variety of data sources (e.g., AWS, SQL Server, etc.).
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and product analytics.
Strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Expertise in complex data modeling and advanced DAX calculations.
Experience in integrating data from diverse sources (e.g., Big Data Systems, on-premise and cloud environments).
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for large datasets, including the use of cubes.
Ability to create real-time dashboards for key industries such as Industry 5.0, Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple priorities.
Proficient in conducting market analysis and competitive intelligence in the BI tools and data analytics landscape.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, capable of driving insights from complex data.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5+ years specializing in Power BI or similar BI tools.
Extensive expertise in Power BI, data visualization, and dashboard design principles.
Solid experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL.
Proven track record of successfully integrating Power BI with a range of data sources (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cloud platforms).
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development lifecycles.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
UX design experience for BI tools is a plus.
