Your role
Work as a Chapter Lead for FX Derivatives Risk platform.
Be a hands-on developer and individual contributor in the team actively involved in deliverables.
Partner closely with the Product Owner to drive the prioritisation, manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely delivery.
Maintain good relationships with stakeholders in the FX Derivatives Business and the Quants.
Be a positive influence at Crew level, willing to take stretch asks and responsibilities.
You will play an important role in the growth of both your immediate team and the FX Derivatives India organisation.
Bring innovation and best practices and engineering solutions to the team.
Work closely with Architects to ensure alignment with Crew, Stream and wider initiatives.
Your team
You will be working with the FX Derivatives Crew located across London, Zurich and Pune. The role is based in Pune, India. The Crew manages technology solutions to support Pricing, Trading, Risk Management and Lifecycle Management for FX Derivatives products (Vanilla and Exotics options and Structured notes).
Your expertise
You have:
More than 10 years of hands-on developer experience and a desire to remain an active developer.
Expert Java and C++ skills with a history ofplex enterprise application development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesising skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
A very good understanding of FX Derivatives Risk Domain - PV, P&L, MtM, risk measure greeks, P&L Attribution, volatility, Intra- and end-of- day risk management.
The expertise to drive strategic direction of the platform with the FO trading desk and senior Quants.
Experience of dealing with non-functional requirements including stability, manageability, scalability, capacity and performance.
Experienced professionalfortable managing risks, issues and technologypliance.
Strong People Management ability. You will manage a team of 8+ developers. Familiar withpute grids, for example map/reduce for example Tibco Data Synapse.
Familiar with Agile andfortable working in an agile environment with frequent delivery.
Pricing and Lifecycle knowledge are nice-to-have.
Nice-to-have experience of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
