Apeejay Education Society is looking for Front Desk Officer for Apeejay School, Nerul.
Summary of Job: The incumbent will be responsible for managing the front office and providing administrative support with a focus on enhancing the experience of families and students. This role demands a professional, welcoming, and organized individual who excels in communication and multitasking within a culturally diverse environment.
Job Responsibilities :
Front Desk Management:
- Welcome and assist parents, students, and visitors with inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a friendly and orderly reception area.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Communication:
- Answer and manage phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
- Act as a liaison between the school administration and ensuring effective communication.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance to the schools management team and faculty as required.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage the school calendar.
- Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and physical.
Coordination and Liaison:
- Assist in organizing school events, meetings, and activities.
- Facilitate orientation programs for new students and families.
Student and Parent Support:
- Address and resolve concerns and queries from parents and students, escalating issues when necessary.
Safety and Security:
- Monitor and manage visitor access to the school, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Assist in implementing and conducting emergency procedures and drills.
Skills and Competencies Required:
- Experience: Prior experience in a front office, administrative, or customer service role, ideally in an educational setting.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Professionalism: High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
