Role & responsibilities

  • Installation of field instruments, sensors, transmitters, and control devices.
  • Calibration of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Preventive & Corrective Maintenance of instrumentation equipment.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair of faulty instruments and control systems.
  • Testing & Commissioning of new instrumentation systems.
  • Monitoring process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, level, etc.).
  • Inspection and verification of control loops and instrumentation circuits.
  • Documentation & Reporting of maintenance, calibration, and test activities.
  • Compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Coordination with electrical, mechanical, and operations teams for smooth plant operation.
  • Support during plant shutdown, startup, and project execution.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related discipline
  • Experience: 2-5 years (Junior) / 5+ years (Senior) in instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of calibration, PLC/DCS/SCADA systems, field instruments, and automation
  • Industry Exposure: Experience in Water Treatment, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or Process Industry preferred
  • Tools Handling: Proficiency in using calibrators, multimeters, HART communicators, and other test equipment
  • Safety Awareness: Familiar with industrial safety standards and hazardous area equipment
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, problem-solving, teamwork, and good communication skills
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, travel to site locations, and support shutdown/turnaround activities
