You will play a pivotal role in shaping how we collaborate with specialized and industry leading partners, as well as internal stakeholders, to support Radiometer’s product portfolio of Critical Medical Devices.This position reports to the Engineering Manager – Hardware in BDC, Bangalore and is part of the Global Instrument R&D. The position is located in BDC office, Bangalore, India. It will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Drive Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects, with special focus on mechanical design activities of parts, sub-assemblies as well as at Instrument level, through collaboration with external Industry leading partners, internal project teams and stakeholders.You'll work at the forefront of advanced Medical Devices, leveraging unique intellectual property that integrates advanced chemistry, electronics, and mechanical sub-systems. Together, we enable precision diagnostics that help save lives - every single day.Collaborate and ensure seamless collaboration with external partners, suppliers, test houses as well as internal stakeholders to ensure the mechanical design activities are delivered on time, matching the high level of quality and reliability required for our leading Precision Diagnostics needed in the medical device industry.Define and continuously improve processes, with special focus on mechanical design procedures and tools, utilizing our recognized Danaher Business System (LEAN Tools) for efficient and superior quality, reliability and Product Lifecycle Management of parts and sub-systems.Drive compliance, product quality and reliability, through documentation, change control and incl.
