Job Description

As a SeniorNodeJs developer

As a SeniorNodeJs developer you will:

  • Work in amulticultural development team.
  • Developbackend services for a digital process transformation platform.
  • Contribute to and come up with ideas aboutsolutions architecture and functions.
  • Collaboration with security specialist andDevOps.
  • Take ownership of the solution anddocument the solution.
  • Foster asolutionoriented mindset within the development team and provideguidance on best practices.
  • Mentor and assistjunior developers in the team promoting knowledge sharing andgrowth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Scienceor a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 7 years of professional experience in Node.jsdevelopment.
  • Strong experience with Express.jsor Nest.js frameworks.
  • Proficiency in buildingeventdriven architectures and utilizing messaging systems.
  • Handson experience with bullMQ or similar jobqueue systems.
  • Exceptional problemsolvingskills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolvingtechnical challenges.
  • Outstandingdocumentation skills including API documentation architecturaldiagrams and codecomments.

Qualifications

Requirements

    • Experiencewith REST API Design using NodeJS (ExpressJS or NestJS)
    • Experience with API Security middlewaresauthentication strategies.
    • Experience ofworking with and handling personal information (PI) and applyingGDPR policies.
    • Experience of working witharchitecture involving multiple databases.
    • Experience of writing E2E and Unit Test casesfor backend services.
    • Experience of workingwith eventdriven architecture. (Queues Events Repeatable events orbackgroundprocesses)
    Technology(Required):
    • LanguageFrameworks Tools: Node.js ExpressJS or NestJS BullMQ
    • Documentation tools: Swagger Redocly
    • Service Deployment andManagement

    Nice tohave:

    • CI/CD (AzurePipelines Github Actions)
    • Experience of workingwith public and privateclouds.
