Program Manager Associate

- Contractors will support the ICAAP Scenario Design and Modelling Team
- The team provides scenario analysis, including stress scenario design, modelling and documentation.
- Scenario Analysis is forward-looking analytical techniques, which seek to anticipate possible losses that might occur if an identified economic base and downturn situation or if a risk event crystallizes.
- It contains a narrative that explains how the global, regional and local political and economic environments may evolve in a base situation and as a result of the onset of stress contemplated in the scenario and how the scenario is shaped by the material risks.
- Scenario analysis process has two critical activities i.e. scenario design (narratives plus primary shock drivers, ‘PSD’) and scenario expansion (macroeconomic variable forecast over planning horizon). In order to design appropriate narratives, it is important that all the specific vulnerabilities and material risks of the affected legal entity are considered to allow for meaningful assessment of stressed capital requirements and management actions.
- The work performed will cover scenario design or review, scenario expansion and documentation.
- Skills needed: Economic knowledge, econometric modelling, statistics, Python, Excel, good communication skills and attention to details.
