Overall purpose of the job:

• As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of our Salesforce environment.
• Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development efforts, ensuring that our Salesforce platform aligns with business needs, enables growth, and is fully optimized to support operational efficiency across departments.
• Working alongside another senior developer, you will be responsible for maintaining the system and implementing new features, driving continuous improvement across the platform.

Key responsibilities for this job:

• Lead Salesforce development projects, ensuring that all deliverables are on time and meet business expectations.
• Work with the Salesforce Administrator to ensure the platform is optimized and aligned with user requirements.
• Regularly review and enhance system performance, employing CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Copado to automate deployment processes.
• Manage and maintain Salesforce integrations with external systems, ensuring data integrity and synchronization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Development Excellence: Utilize advanced Salesforce development skills to design and build solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), and SOQL.
• System Integration: Manage complex system integrations through Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring that data flows efficiently across platforms.
• Optimization: Identify system inefficiencies and implement optimization techniques using advanced Apex functionality, including Batch Apex and Queueable Apex.
• Security and Compliance: Leverage Salesforce Shield and other security tools to ensure robust data protection and encryption across the platform.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Salesforce Administrator, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to prioritize enhancements and streamline operations.
• Sales and Service Cloud Enhancements: Lead customizations for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, focusing on workflow automation, case management, and optimizing customer interaction channels.

Knowledge and experience required:

• Certified expertise, including Salesforce Platform Developer I (mandatory) and Platform Developer II (mandatory), with a strong understanding of advanced Salesforce architecture, such as Application Architect and Integration Architecture Designer certification.
• Proven experience in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), along with robust SOQL skills, for creating efficient, scalable solutions.
• Extensive knowledge in REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven architecture, enabling seamless Salesforce integration with other systems.
• Become familiar with Salesforce Shield and advanced security protocols to safeguard data integrity and user privacy.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Copado, enabling streamlined, automated deployment processes.
