Job Description: 2D Game Artist (FULL TIME / ON-SITE)

Salary: 3 LPA - 3.5 LPA

Responsibilities:

Concept Art Creation: Develop high-quality 2D concept art and illustrations for characters, environments, and in-game assets.

UI/UX Design: Design user-friendly, visually appealing game interfaces, including menus, HUDs, icons, and buttons, ensuring an intuitive player experience.

Texturing: Create detailed textures for 3D assets using Photoshop and Blender, ensuring consistency and quality.

Asset Production: Collaborate with the team to produce and refine game-ready 2D assets and ensure proper integration into the game engine.

Animation (Optional): Assist in creating simple 2D animations when necessary.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers and designers to ensure artwork aligns with gameplay, narrative, and design goals.

Iteration: Respond to feedback, iterating on designs and assets to achieve the best possible results.

Technical Optimization: Ensure assets are optimized for performance while maintaining visual quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Artistic Expertise: Strong foundational art skills, including color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.

UI/UX Knowledge: Ability to design user interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and functional.

Software Proficiency:

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for digital painting, texturing, and asset creation.

Experience with Blender for creating and texturing 3D models (focus on 2D/3D pipelines).

Texturing Skills: Proficient in creating high-quality, seamless textures for 3D assets.

Game Art Workflow: Familiarity with the game development pipeline and asset optimization for game engines (e.g., Unity).

Communication: Strong ability to work collaboratively and accept constructive feedback.

Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

Type: In-office

Hours: Full-time

Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a cohesive gaming experience.

Portfolio Requirement:

Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing:

2D game assets (e.g., characters, environments).

UI/UX designs for games or applications.

Examples of texture work.

Optional: Animations or Blender projects.
