Roles and Responsibility
This is a technical role, providing technical support toCompany’s Enterprise customers and their various technical teams. Therole covers Project/Account Management, Feature Design, Implementationmanagement of technologies and processes definition. This person will beresponsible for developing and maintaining expertise on the customers systemsand processes as it relates to Company’s platform.
A Customer Deployment Engineer is required to develop andmaintain an expertise in the relevant Company products and ensure a high levelof customer satisfaction. In addition to knowledge on the CompanyProducts, The CDE will be expected to be the front line of communication withthe customer as it relates to triaging issues, helping define requirements fornew features, coordinating other company functions, representing Company’splatform capabilities such as Pods, Gateway Device, APIs, Data, roadmaps, andfirmware integrations.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Communication Service Providers (CSPs),Enterprise customers and their product, technical teams to help them gain agood understanding of Company solutions.
Provide both strategic and day-to-day technical expertiseand support for assigned accounts.
Act as subject matter expert and technical liaisonbetween Company technical teams and other vendors of Customers such as ODM’s,SOC vendors, and OSS/BSS API vendors in the effort of implementing technicaldeployment projects.
Drive diagnosis, troubleshooting and thorough testing ofescalated high impact production issues that are not easily reproducible.
Lead cross-functional customer experience review sessionswith Product and Engineering to support development of innovative solutions.Communicate clear and actionable recommendations towards product improvement(including bug fixes and new features) during these sessions and manageprioritization of these requests.
Coordinate the definition of requirements for newfeatures, design and ultimately development and deployment.
Author technical documentation for the CustomerDeployment team and Communication Service Providers
Conduct workshops, presentations, meetings on-site withcustomer pursuit of deployment projects.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements: BS in Computer or ElectricalEngineering or related technical field, or equivalent with 5+ years of relevantindustry experience.
3 years of experience in a Field ApplicationsEngineering, Product Management or Support with Communication Service Providersin the region.
Engineering type of role for Cloud or Networkingservices.
A demonstrated understanding of the key technology componentsthat make up Cloud such as virtualization, networking, workloads/applications,and API’s.
Good understanding of wireless technologies
Proficient verbal and written technical communication inEnglish and Hindi.
Proficient usage of collaboration tools like Salesforce,Jira & Confluence.
Based in Mumbai, commuting distance to Navi Mumbai.
Ability to travel ~25% of the time.
