JobResponsibilities(JR):

Identification& Investigations onFrauds/Disputes

  • Trainvendors/staffs along with team for identifying fraudulentapplications profiles
  • Trainthem to current and latest fraud trends and maintain tracker
  • Liaisewith other units/counterparts to ensure correct information isobtained to carry out necessary investigations and reviews
  • Updateand logically close investigations on cases referred.
  • Ensurecompletion of documents filing and indexing of documents reports
  • Do seeding and otherrelated investigations at sourcinglevels

Investigation

  • Trainand review staff so as they can carry out necessary investigationsin their location.
  • Doproper customer & merchant investigations and take disputes tological end by way of recommending credit or liability etc. basismerit of the case and due investigations
  • Ensurecompletion of documents filing and indexing of documents reports
  • Dofield visits wherever necessary and carry out joint visits ifrequired.
  • LeadInvestigation on credit debit prepaid dispute cases and otherPayments products.
  • Investigationon CNP referrals (CC & DC) Net baking / Chillr / UPIdisputes.
  • Collectionreferred cases Non Starter & Web Marked cases investigation.
  • Deceasedcustomer verification
  • ProvideIR/MO for FMR reporting
  • ProvidePolicy level inputs for process correction as and when required
  • RegularInteraction with all the functions of the bank mainly with theSales Credit Collections and Merchant Services ensure appropriatefeedback on identified issues
  • Keep the Fraudexposures much below the benchmarks by way of proper controlmechanisms by understanding the market trends indepth

Recovery/LawEnforcement Liaison

  • Workon fraud cases to ensure recovery through various mechanism likefield through the help of law enforcement or through other banksandmerchants
  • File policecomplaints liaise with law enforcement teams on fraud cases postnecessary approvals

IndustryLevel networking

  • Interactwith counterparts and risk officials of other banks to get correctinformation which can help in closure of investigations duly
  • Scoutfor negative information like DSE fraud companies merchants andprofiles and neglist them in our systems
  • Maintainan MIS and details of such negative information

TeamCoordination & Vendor Management

  • Teammanagement & Synergize to maximize the results
  • Trainvendors review their reports and quality document with them interms of month end letters review of bills so as correct bills aresubmitted
  • Supportcolleagues as a backup in contingency and if required
  • Updateteam supervisors on frauds trends etc. on immediate basis
  • Ensure thatempanelment checks are conducted at the on boarding stage onvarious vendors / channel partners operating Payments businessunits

CrossChecks

  • Tocarry out cross checks as specified in the internal RIC bulletins /rolled out by the Central RIC team.
  • SLICross check activities
  • Ensuringthat negative findings / variances found whilst conducting thecross checks are addressed with the respective units andappropriate action is taken where required.
  • GoldLoan T & F activity Cross valuation and packet opening.
  • Post disbursementasset verifications
