Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Candidate Sourcing Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on sourcing top-tier talent by leveraging various job boards, professional networks, and online platforms to meet the specific needs of our Hiring Managers and Stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to identify high-quality candidates for various roles. Utilize job boards like Indeed and LinkedIn, professional networks, and other relevant platforms.
- Search Optimization: Craft and refine search queries to enhance candidate targeting and improve sourcing efficiency.
- Candidate Identification: Proactively identify and engage potential candidates who meet job specifications through innovative sourcing techniques.
- Candidate Review: Thoroughly analyze resumes, online profiles, and other candidate data to ensure alignment with job requirements and identify top talent.
- Outreach and Engagement: Initiate and manage contact with potential candidates via messaging platforms, emails, and other communication channels. Build relationships to develop a strong candidate pipeline.
- Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and optimize a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Screening: Conduct preliminary screenings via phone or initial interviews to assess candidate suitability and interest in roles.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all candidate interactions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for efficient tracking and follow-up.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Hiring Managers and Stakeholders to align sourcing efforts with specific job requirements and overall talent acquisition goals.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging sourcing techniques to continuously improve sourcing effectiveness.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and insights to Hiring Managers, Stakeholders, and the Recruitment team on sourcing progress, candidate pipeline status, and sourcing strategies.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, with a strong preference for candidates with telecom experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to work with multiple systems and applications simultaneously; proficient in productivity tools such as Google Docs, Calendar, and Gmail or similar software.
- Customer Focus: Exceptional focus on delivering high-quality results while building positive relationships.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
- Problem-Solving: Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a strong desire to contribute to the organization’s success and reputation.
