Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Azure Administrator with strong skills in automation, to manage, monitor, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Azure services and possess hands-on experience in automating operational tasks to ensure scalable and efficient cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Azure Infrastructure Management :
  • Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage accounts, network resources, and other Azure services.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory, access control, and security policies.
  • Monitor and maintain health, performance, and capacity of Azure environments.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations across Azure services.
  • Automation & Scripting :
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages to streamline cloud operations.
  • Automate the provisioning of Azure resources and environments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Automate routine operational tasks such as backups, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Monitoring & Optimization :
  • Implement monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Proactively monitor costs, optimize cloud resources, and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud governance and security best practices.
  • Security & Compliance :
  • Implement Azure Security Center recommendations and ensure that the environment complies with security standards.
  • Manage identity and access through Azure Active Directory and ensure secure identity lifecycle management.
  • Collaboration & Support :
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment of cloud resources.
  • Provide support for troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis related to cloud services.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements and provide technical recommendations.

Required Skills :

  • Azure Administration : Strong hands-on experience in managing and administering Azure environments (VMs, storage, networking, databases, etc.).
  • Automation Tools : Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, and scripting for cloud resource management.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for automated deployment of cloud infrastructure.
  • Networking : Good understanding of Azure networking components such as VNETs, load balancers, VPN gateways, and Azure Firewall.
  • Security : Proficiency in managing Azure Active Directory, role-based access control (RBAC), and Azure Security Center.
  • Monitoring : Experience in setting up and managing Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other monitoring tools.
  • CI/CD Pipelines : Knowledge of integrating Azure environments into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
  • Troubleshooting : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot cloud-related issues efficiently.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4-10 years of relevant experience in Azure cloud administration and automation.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of container services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
