This role will be responsible to build and maintain database infrastructure on cloud and On-Premises. The Database administrator will work with cross-functional teams to build and support SQL and NoSQL database infrastructure and also contribute as subject matter expertise for Banyan Cloud product initiatives


Key Responsibilities:


  • Must be flexible to work on the office timings to accommodate the multi-national client timings.
  • Responsible for installation, patching, Configuration & managing various database technologies on Cloud and On-premises.
  • Administration, performance monitoring, reporting, and root cause analysis
  • Provide the Database Health Checks and optimization, Monitoring and management setup/configuration
  • Willing to learn new technologies and work on research orientated projects
  • Carryout various database security features required for the product development
  • Enforcement of Database security standards across all the environments
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed


Key Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in PgSQL Database Administration that includes installation, Configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting database systems
  • Freshers can apply for the entry level positions
  • Minimum one year experience in managing the MongoDB infrastructure
  • Experience working with database PaaS services on public cloud, preferably
  • AWS Exposure to Database security controls and policies
  • Strong knowledge on Kubernetes platforms, preferably on Cloud
  • Working experience on other database technologies is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience of Shell scripting for the task automation
  • Working experience with Application teams for schema changes and performance tuning
  • Strong skills of troubleshooting of any Unix platform
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
