We're seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our team and help build the next generation of tools that empower businesses to thrive. About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer at Glood.AI, you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our SaaS platform. You'll work on all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation and deployment. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating innovative features that solve real problems for our eCommerce clients.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient code for our web-based SaaS platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Implement security and data protection measures
  • Integrate our platform with third-party services and APIs, especially within the Shopify ecosystem
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
  • Stay informed about emerging industry trends and technologies


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in full stack web development
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including modern frameworks like React or Vue.js
  • Experience with server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Shopify app development or eCommerce platforms
  • Knowledge of GraphQL
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of serverless architecture
  • Contributions to open-source projects
