Key Tasks & Responsibilities:


Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to drive informed decision-making.

2. Financial Management:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings.

3. Capital Management:

• Manage capital structure and allocation, including debt financing, equity financing, and investment decisions.

• Optimize working capital and liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.

4. Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks to protect the company's assets and reputation.

• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and compliance procedures.

5. Investor Relations:

• Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions to maintain market confidence and support capital raising activities.

• Communicate financial performance, corporate strategy, and key developments to shareholders and the investment community.

6. Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):

• Lead financial due diligence and evaluation of potential M&A opportunities.

• Oversee the financial integration of acquired companies to maximize synergies and value creation.

7. Strategic Financial Initiatives:

• Evaluate and execute strategic initiatives, such as joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and new business ventures.

• Conduct financial analysis and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.

8. Leadership and Team Development:

• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Skills & Competencies Required:


 Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance and SEC reporting.

 Background coordinating with I.T. staff to manage and/or upgrade accounting system. Systems implementation experience strongly preferred.

 Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

 Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence – ability to motivate staff.

 Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills

 Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.


Academic & Professional Qualifications:


• Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CA/MBA or CPA preferred.

• Proven experience as a VP/Sr. VP/Dy. CFO/ CFO or senior finance executive, preferably in a similar industry or sector.

• Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking ability.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.

• Sound judgment, integrity, and ethical behavior in all business dealings

• Exposure to ERP environment like SAP/Oracle etc.


Experience Required:

• Minimum of 20-25 years of experience in finance leadership roles, with a track record of driving financial performance and organizational success.

• Experience in IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and capital market transactions preferred.


Working Conditions:

• Office-based with occasional travel required.

• Change Readiness: Assessment of the VP/Dy. CFO/CFO readiness and ability to adapt to organizational changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, or changes in business strategy.

• Change Implementation: Evaluation of the VP/Dy. CFO/CFO effectiveness in leading and managing change initiatives within the finance function, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.

• Employee Resilience: Measure of employee morale and resilience during periods of change, reflecting the VP/Dy. CFO/CFO communication and support throughout the process.

5. Professional Development:

• Continuous Learning: Evaluation of the VP/Dy. CFO/CFO commitment to professional development and lifelong learning, including participation in training programs, industry conferences, and networking events.
