Job Description :


As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding our systems and networks against security threats.

You will work closely with IT teams to design and implement security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to security incidents.

Your expertise in cyber security will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our data.

Key Responsibilities :

Security Infrastructure Development :

- Design, implement, and maintain security measures and protocols to protect information systems and networks.

- Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and antivirus software.

- Ensure systems and applications comply with security standards and best practices.

Vulnerability Assessment and Management :

- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks.

- Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause and implement corrective actions.

- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.

Incident Response and Management :

- Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.

- Respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, and coordinate with relevant teams to contain and remediate threats.

- Document incidents and create detailed reports for management review.

Security Audits and Compliance :

- Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

- Collaborate with compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

- Prepare and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit reports.

Security Awareness and Training :

- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.

- Promote a culture of security within the organization.

- Provide guidance and support to IT teams and end-users on security best practices.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into system designs and software development processes.

- Communicate security risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Participate in security forums and stay updated on the latest cyber security trends and threats.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.

- 3 to 6 years of experience in cyber security or a related role.

- Strong knowledge of security technologies and tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus software).

- Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.

- Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).

- Solid understanding of networking protocols and architectures.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.

- Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. , Python, PowerShell) for automating security tasks.

- Familiarity with incident response frameworks and digital forensics.

- Understanding of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
