Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Trainer
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Trainer with a proven track record in corporate training. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity along with exceptional teaching skills. The role involves designing curriculum, delivering training sessions, and staying abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity. Flexibility to travel is essential, as the position may require conducting training sessions at various client locations. A master's degree in a relevant field is required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive training curriculum covering various aspects of cybersecurity, including but not limited to network security, information security policies, risk management, and incident response.
2. Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to corporate clients, ensuring that participants grasp complex concepts and practical skills effectively.
3. Customize training programs according to the specific needs and requirements of each client, adapting content and delivery methods as necessary.
4. Stay updated on the latest trends, threats, and technologies in cybersecurity, incorporating relevant insights into training materials and sessions.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to identify training needs and develop strategies for enhancing cybersecurity awareness and skills within client organizations.
6. Provide hands-on guidance and support to participants during training sessions, encouraging active participation and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
7. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed to optimize learning outcomes.
8. Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity-related topics, offering guidance and assistance to both clients and internal stakeholders as required.
9. Maintain professional certifications and credentials in cybersecurity, demonstrating ongoing commitment to professional development and expertise in the field.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
2. 6-8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on corporate training and education.
3. Proven expertise in designing and delivering cybersecurity training programs, including curriculum development, instructional design, and classroom facilitation.
4. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, tools, and technologies, with hands-on experience in areas such as penetration testing, security assessments, and incident response.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
6. Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed, sometimes on short notice, to deliver training sessions and support client engagements.
7. Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
8. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a passion for continuous learning and skill development.
