In this role, you will:
• Participate in low to moderately complex Wealth Underwriting initiatives in support of high-net-worth portfolio management;
identify opportunities for process improvement within scope of responsibilities
• Review, analyze, and evaluate borrower formation documents and trust documents to determine beneficial owners, control owners, and powers to borrow and pledge, ensuring the accounts have been set up in accordance with formation documents/trusts reviewed
• Review credit requests for acceptable borrowing/pledging structures per credit policies
• Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise of Wealth Underwriting functional area policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Review, analyze and evaluate daily reports to identify risks and violations for Regulation B communication, Regulation U (purpose credit), Reg W (covered transactions) as well as other risk factors
• Develop basic Securities Based Lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for Wealth Investment Management Securities based lending products as needed understanding of Home Lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for Wealth Investment Management client mortgages as needed
• Collaborate and consult with Wealth Underwriting peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Adhere to credit risk management decisions to ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations
Desired qualifications:
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access a plus.
