TeamLead/Assistant ManagerLead and mentor a team of 15 P2P professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure the team's productivity and performance meet or exceed established goals.• Manage the delivery of AP services as per the agreement with AI• First-level escalation for JM process owners/Infosys AP team• Review of payment proposal and provide a list of large payments• Deploy and monitor process controls, quality assurance plans, and risk mitigation initiatives• Identify transformational initiatives• Motivate the team to meet and exceed SLAs• Track service level metrics• Ability to lead and motivate team to achieve performance goals•Customer orientation•Good communication skills

Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the P2P process.

Variance Analysis:Analyze financial data and variances, investigate discrepancies, and provide insights into the balance sheet flux.

Audit Support:Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, ensuring audit requirements are met and audit findings are addressed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with other finance and operational teams to gather information, resolve issues, and improve data quality .

Your Role AccountabilitiesThe P2P lead plays a key role in the finance and accounting department of an organization. This role involves managing a team of professionals responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial data, as well as delivering timely and accurate financial reports.

Qualifications & ExperienceA graduate or postgraduate in accountancy with 10+ years of post-qualification accounting experience in international and matrix organizations with a focus on record-to-report processes.Must have strong practical and theoretical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.Very good written and spoken English is a must.Proficient and experienced in MS Office applications, command over Excel is a must.High Integrity team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with others and promote positive working relationships across the organization.Motivated by the challenging, high-energy, flexible environment. Ability to work under conditions of pressure and adjust to urgent and changing situations.The ability to plan and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines is fundamental so too is effective time management of workflow to meet accounting deadlines.Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Supervisory experience in leading a team size of 15 resources.
