Job Description – Quality Manager

Designation: Quality Manager

Salary: ₹28,000/- per month (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Minimum Education Required

  • Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum Job Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years as a QC Engineer in an Automotive Component Manufacturing Company

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain BD (8D/SCAPA) and CAPA reports
  • Prepare and maintain PPAP and APQP documentation
  • Generate PDI and RMTC inspection reports
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure continuous improvements
  • Conduct KAIZEN activities across the plant
  • Inspect and approve all incoming materials
  • Ensure availability of RMTC + PDI (with actual batch from supplier)
  • Undertake supplier quality improvement and evaluation
  • Conduct supplier audits
  • Monitor compliance of supplier KPIs
  • Conduct RMTC & in-process inspections
  • Conduct daily in-process inspections and final PDI of customer products
  • Undertake Quality Management System (QMS) and IATF-related activities
  • Perform layered audits, process audits, and product audits
  • Train manpower for continuous improvement
  • Ensure calibration of instruments as per frequency plan
  • Conduct SPC, MSA, LUX, and Poison tests
  • Maintain MTTR and MTBF records
  • Drive KAIZEN initiatives across functions

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications Required

  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, CAPA, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in using different measuring instruments
  • Sound knowledge of statistical and quality assurance techniques
  • Awareness of QMS & IATF standards
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel for reporting & analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and liaisoning skills
  • Ability to lead audits and compliance activities
  • Exposure to supplier evaluation and development

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
