As a ServiceNow Senior Lead QA, you will be responsible for testing and validating ServiceNow applications and functionalities. ATF automated a script to have regression test scenarios. Work with product owners for a functional understanding of ServiceNow applications.


As part of the Unify Desk project, you will be responsible for smooth user migration to the ServiceNow CSM module with a regression,sanity and smoke suite test cases. Operational efficiency and reduction of IT complexity are key objectives to be ensured during migration. Obtain final approval and signoffs for each testing type. Prepareaton of regression test plans along with the process leads of each team and execution of regression must be conducted as effectively as possible during the servicenow upgrade testing.

Conducting various types of testing such as functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on Service Now applications. Ensuring that Service Now applications meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and user expectations. Create test plans, strategies, and approaches for Service Now implementations.

Role Purpose

We are looking for Senior Lead QA to lead overall testing strategy on Service Now and end to end solution.

Senior Lead QA is a pivotal role within the build and program team, focused on overseeing the quality assurance process to ensure software products (on service now and connected applications) meet the highest standards of quality before release.

This role involves strategic planning, development of test plans and cases, and leadership over the QA team to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The Senior Lead QA works closely with development and product teams to integrate quality assurance measures into the Agile process, ensuring timely and high-quality software releases.

He/She leads the charge in maintaining and enhancing software quality.

This involves driving the quality assurance lifecycle within Agile frameworks, establishing testing strategies in collaboration with development and product teams, and implementing comprehensive test plans and cases.

The main responsibility of the Senior Lead QA is :

  • documenting and executing test cases independently based on requirements for ITIL Processes. (Change Management/ Incident/Problem/CMDB
  • experience in testing ServiceNow ITSM Modules (Incident management, Change management, Problem management, Service Catalog, etc.), ITOM, SOM, HRSD etc.
  • in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodology, Testing Concepts (Black Box testing, System Testing, Acceptance Testing, Regression testing, Stress testing, Automation testing, etc.)

Implement ATFS and setting up test scripts within ServiceNow Enhance and maintain automated flows.

  • knowledge of Service Now configurations, workflows, and customization capabilities.
  • issues in systems under test.
  • meetings, set goals, provide feedback on testing tasks, and delegate testing responsibilities.
  • build and maintain ATF after each sprint on each story basis and to run these ATF after every sprint as part of regression.
  • understanding of CMDB, service mapping and Discovery
  • in upgrade and regression testing.
  • experience with ServiceNow implementations
  • years of experience working with ITSM solutions in an enterprise environment
  • years of ServiceNow experience / implementation
  • integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP Fundamental

Experience in Testing on ServiceNow instance integrations using REST/SOAP APIs(Mandatory)


Experience

9-12 years of experience in ServiceNow functional validation as a Functional Test Lead.

Good level of practiced technical knowledge.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • CSA certified
  • ATF Expert
  • certification required. ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a plus.

ServiceNow testing and ATF experience is must.
