What You'll Do (Job Role)


  • Designing, development & testing of antennas.
  • Using electromagnetic analysis software’s to design and predict performance of various types of antennas and apertures (spiral, sinuous, Vivaldi, patch, slot, horn, ultra-wideband tightly coupled dipole arrays, etc.)
  • Analyze test data and reports to determine if the proposed antenna design meets functional and performance specifications
  • Fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas, feed systems and RF front ends
  • NFTR testing of AESA antenna
  • Contribute to development of software and testing of digital beamforming systems to demonstrate full phased array functionality
  • Provide phased array expertise to set specifications and debug problems.
  • Lead or support integration of antennas to Radars, spacecrafts and other systems
  • Testing of Antennas for required performance metrics: VSWR, gain, polarization, etc.
  • Support internal and customer research and development programs design and simulation of antennas, arrays or RF components/systems and leading teams that perform these functions


Who You Are:


  • Strong understanding of antenna theory and RF principles.
  • Familiar with antenna measurement techniques and tools such as anechoic/reverb chambers, near field EM measurements.
  • Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation software (e.g., HFSS, CST, COMSOL).
  • Familiar with antenna prototyping tools and techniques
  • Experience with RF measurements and testing equipment.
  • Knowledge of materials used in antenna
  • Fair knowledge of Radoms used in the Radar system.


Educational Background：

  • BE/B Tech in E&C/E&E/Telecom or ME/M Tech in RF & Microwave Engineering with a minimum of 4-8 years of experience in a reputed Electronics industry in Antenna Design for Defense & Strategic Electronics.
