The Business Development Manager (Information Security) is responsible for managing and cultivating new business opportunities for the development of longterm business partnerships by creating superior value for our clients. The individual will focus on analyzing customer needs to create a full solution from our product and services portfolio in the assigned region.
Job Description:At least 6to 10 years of relevant experience in Sales and/or business development
with a minimum of 2 years experience in cyber/ Information security
servicesManage
region
specific teams to achieve qualitative sales.Develop
new sales leads and prospects and achieve assigned sales targets.Implement
gotomarket strategy to increase revenue and grow Rest of Asia Pacific
(APAC) regionUnderstand
and appreciate market trends competitive landscape and industry
developments in the security sectorResponsible
for staying wellinformed about product roadmap as well as understanding
the scenarios features and functions within each of the products and
how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This
includes interacting with Product Management on an ongoing basis to
stay current.Maintain
contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of
client satisfaction.Define
strategy to achieve targets and to follow the set strategy punctually.Generate
business opportunities by working with Customers and Channel partners to
discover and explore opportunities.Maintains
accurate records of all pricings sales and other activity reports.Create
proposals/RFP responses and conduct presentations.Responsible
for staying current on competitive analyses and understanding
differentiation between the company and its competitors.Responsible
for providing feedback from the market to Product Management regarding
products including coordinating gaps between product functionality and
Partner/customer demands.Coordinate
requirements for proofs of concept (POCs) with Product Management and
PreSales teamFacilitate
client interactions for project delivery as and when requiredRequirementsProven
Business Development Manager working on TargetsProven
track record in sales business development and winning new businessExperience
in selling PCI DSS SOC (Security Operations) penetration testing
incident response services Threat assessments etc. is desirable. Good
understanding of Information/ Cyber security marketplace and solutionsAccount
planning and execution and ability to network with all levels in an organizationAbility to
understand customer Cyber/ Information security requirements and offer
appropriate solutions.Certifications
in Information security areas will be added advantageStrong
client relationship building/ interpersonal skills and communication
skillsShould
have experience in doing presentations demonstrations conducting evaluations
preparing proposals responding to RFPs Tenders etc.Should be keen to
travel extensively up to 3040%Excellent
written and verbal communication Skills
