Position Overview:As an IT Solution Architect specializing in Procure to Pay (P2P), you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that streamline our procurement and payment processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to create a seamless and efficient P2P ecosystem. You will be responsible for building / implementing capabilities in the area of P2P for both India and UK entity and further countries as per business expansion plan. You are also expected to ensure smooth and resilient operations with high degree of accuracy and 100% compliance to IT , Business , Statutory and regulatory policies and needs.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Solution Design:

Develop comprehensive P2P solution designs that align with business objectives, optimize procurement processes, and ensure efficient payment workflows.Requirements Gathering:

Collaborate with procurement, finance, and supply chain teams to gather and analyse P2P functional and technical requirements.System Integration:

Identify opportunities for system integration and design architecture to ensure seamless data flow between P2P and other relevant systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).Technology Evaluation:

Assess and recommend software, tools, and platforms for P2P, considering scalability, security, and compliance requirements. Data Architecture:

Define data models, data flows, and data integration strategies to support P2P processes, ensuring data accuracy and availability.Security and Compliance:

Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure P2P solutions meet data security and regulatory standards.Change Management:

Provide guidance on change management processes and best practices to facilitate smooth adoption of P2P solutions.Vendor Management:

Manage relationships with technology vendors, solution providers, and service providers, overseeing contracts, service levels, and performance.Cost Management:

Assist in budget planning and management related to P2P technology initiatives, optimizing resource allocation.Technical Leadership:

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT teams working on P2P projects, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to P2P solution architecture, processes, and best practices.Performance Monitoring:

Implement monitoring tools and processes to track the performance of P2P solutions, identifying and addressing issues proactively.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

EssentialProven experience as an IT Solution Architect, with a focus on Procure to Pay processes.In-depth knowledge of procurement and payment processes, supply chain management, and P2P best practices.Strong understanding of enterprise-level software and technologies relevant to P2P, including procurement platforms and payment gateways.Expertise in system integration and data architecture, including data modelling and data warehousing.Familiarity with data security, privacy, and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.Experience with project management and vendor relationship management.Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
