Job DescriptionConduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys to determine land elevations, boundaries, and features using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.

Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, including field notes, sketches, and survey data, to support project planning and decision-making.

Assist in the preparation of survey reports, maps, and drawings, documenting survey results and presenting findings to project stakeholders as needed.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to provide surveying support and ensure project objectives are met.

Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks to facilitate accurate measurements and ensure consistency throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor and verify construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, survey data, and quality standards.

Conduct as-built surveys to document the location and dimensions of completed structures, utilities, and infrastructure for record-keeping and future reference.

Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others on the construction site.

Keep abreast of industry developments, advancements in surveying technology, and changes in regulations to continuously improve surveying processes and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Land Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably in Dubai or the Middle East region.

Proficiency in operating surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS equipment, and digital levels, as well as surveying software for data processing and analysis.

Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies, including topographic surveying, boundary surveying, and construction layout.

Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards related to land surveying and construction activities in Dubai.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting surveys and recording data.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification or licensure as a Land Surveyor.

Experience using advanced surveying techniques, such as 3D laser scanning and drone surveying.

Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) and its application in construction surveying.
