Advisory Services India Private Limited is an international consulting company based in Mumbai, with operation all over India. We are mainly focused on Foreign Direct Investments into India, and we provide financial and accounting services to international clients entering the Indian market.

Account Officer Job Description

We are looking for an Account officer with excellent administrative and analytical financial skills to join our team. Account officer are expected to examine and compile financial reports (including verification of vouchers) and be well acquainted with governmental regulations i. e. Direct and Indirect taxes (GST, TDS, P Tax, Income Tax of Company, and Tax on Salary of Employees).

Account officer Responsibilities:

  • Verification of vouchers on daily basis
  • Preparation of Monthly MIS Report & Reconciliations
  • Taking responsibility for the planning and execution of financial duties and projects of a company.
  • Preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the business to ensure financial stability.
  • Managing cash flow and periodic cash flow reporting
  • Tax Assessments & Returns
  • Monthly GST Payments / Returns GSTR 1 & GSTR 3B
  • GST Audit
  • 24Q / 27Q TDS Monitoring Quarterly TDS Returns, 26AS Reconciliations
  • Professional Tax Return of employees
  • Monitor Revenue, Bill booking and Receivable Management
  • Monitor Vendor Payments and reconciliations
  • Monitor Regular Bank Reconciliations
  • Monitor RPT regularly
  • Ensure optimum usage of Funds
  • Co-ordinate with Statutory Auditors
  • Tax Audit / Tax Planning
  • Managing the risks involved in the financial activities of the business.
  • Estimating short and long-term financial objectives by setting performance targets.

 

Account officer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, and Taxation (Direct and Indirect Tax).
  • 5 years of experience in a senior financial position.
  • A good understanding of financial management obligations, especially statutory obligations, and requirements.
  • Be an analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software such as Microsoft Excel and Tally ERP.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills in English Language
  • The ability to work independently.
