RoleSynopsis: We are seeking aseniorlevel construction/ project execution professional with 16 to20 years of experience of which the last 10 years should have beenin the wind/renewable energy industry. The incumbent will be basedin Rajkot reporting to the Head of construction and will beresponsible for travelling to projects overseeing managing anddelivering projects within the stipulated timelines. The rolerequires someone good with people and time management and addressesthe challenges concerning stakeholders vendors and contractors.Focuses on the Organisation s Quality and Safety standards whilemanaging constructing and delivering the projects. The incumbentwill also be responsible for all site construction activitiesmanaging site administration requirements and assuming economicresponsibility for material personnel and contract costs.Candidates with experience in both wind and solar construction willbepreferred.
Jobdescription:
  • Craftinga comprehensive Project Monitoring plan in consultation with SeniorManagement and all relevant stakeholderdepartments.
  • Identifying key risks related toproject milestones based on project progress inputs and historicaldata. Calculating the potential cost impact due to associated risksand developing action plans to mitigatethem.
  • Continuously tracking and monitoringproject activities to identify and address issues early on makemidcourse corrections and escalate issues promptly. Identifyingcritical delay areas working on mitigation strategies and planningthe way forward in collaboration with the relevant departmentstakeholders.
  • Leading productive project updatemeetings and reviews across various levels offering an integratedview of project plans and insights.
  • Efficientlymonitoring cranes tools and transport equipment installations andall other site activities related to Civil BOP and WTG erection tooptimize time and costs enhancing overallproductivity.
  • Ensuring that log sheets arefilled out consistently and clearly facilitating timely release ofvendor invoicing and invoice booking fromAccounts.
  • Harnessing internal and external dataand benchmarks to identify opportunities for optimizing costs andenhancing HSE parameters.
  • Liaison with variousnodal agencies budgeting and estimation ensuring ontime delivery ofthe projects with quality and stringentdeadlines.
  • Extend support for laying site roadsand facilitating crane and material movements coordination withstate officials vendors contractors &subcontractors.
  • Being contract savvy ensuringno claims on the company and also keeping its position strong tostake claims on its contractors /subcontractors.

  • Experience15 to 20 years
  • Education QualificationsMandatory: B. Tech / B.E. in Electrical orMechanical
  • Preferred: M Tech / MBA /PGDM
