Align is currently seeking a Front End Software Engineer, ServiceNow to join our DWE organization. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the user interface of our Service/HR Portal and user experience on the ServiceNow platform. He/She will work closely with the ServiceNow platform team, business analysts, process owners, and stakeholders to understand the requirements and deliver solutions that meet the business needs and enhance the employee experience. In this role, you will… Design, develop and maintain user interfaces for HR Service Delivery and other web applications on the ServiceNow platform using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, and other web technologies. Implement responsive web design principles and best practices to ensure optimal performance and usability across devices and browsers. Implement best practices and standards for front-end development, such as accessibility, usability, performance, and security. Collaborate with the HR team, back-end developers, business analysts, and project managers to gather and analyse the business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. Follow the agile methodology and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following the ServiceNow coding standards and guidelines. Create and execute test cases and perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the web interfaces. Debug and troubleshoot issues and provide support and maintenance for the HR Service Delivery applications. Provide technical support and documentation for the end-users and stakeholders. Follow the best practices and standards for front-end development and ensure the compliance with the security and accessibility guidelines. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the ServiceNow platform and the web development field. In this role, you’ll need … Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 4-6 years of experience as a Software Developer, with a focus on ServiceNow front-end web development, preferably on the HR Service Delivery module. Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, and other web technologies. Experience in developing web applications on ServiceNow platform using Service Portal, UI Pages, UI Scripts, UI Macros, and other ServiceNow components. Familiar with ServiceNow development tools and methodologies, such as Studio, Update Sets, Scoped Applications, Service Portal, and Flow Designer. Strong knowledge of web development concepts, such as responsive design, accessibility, usability, performance, and security. Proficient in using web development tools, such as IDEs, code editors, browsers, debuggers, and testing tools. Effective communication and collaboration skills, self-motivated and flexible with the ability to work effectively and independently with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements. Certification in ServiceNow Application Developer or ServiceNow System Administrator is a plus
