Job Title: Duty ChefLocation: Bengaluru Near Devanahalli (Kempegowda International Airport)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all food preparation and presentation is in accordance with the highest culinary standard established by the Company and adherence to SOP’s..• Closely cooperate with the Production Manager/NPD Chef/ Production Chef and other section heads involved to create the best possible communication.• Advise and propose new ideas with a view to an economical utilization of food and make suggestions on new products.• Assure date making is practiced at all times• Control and direct staff to achieve maximum effectiveness.• Ensure the approved methods of food-handling are being followed by all staff• Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained properly and that replacement programs are undertaken.• Ensure all kitchen practice are safe and in accordance with Company safety regulation.• Ensure temperature checks are taken.• Report to the Production Manager on daily basis.• Ensure the maximum cleanliness of the whole production and food storage area are maintained.• Make temperature checks and weight checks all the time.• Check and follow up on FSSC 22000, BRC etc. requirements.• Perform and carry out other related duties or special tasks as assigned

Qualification• Bachelor's degree in Culinary/Cookery or a related field• At least 5 to 10 years of direct experience in Ready to eat Food Manufacturing Frozen/Ambient, Catering or related field.• Food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards and safety.• Willing to work shifts and able to control staff.• Ability to communicate in English.• Food hygiene and HACCP knowledge
