Role: ETL Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned ETL Developer to join our team and support a high-impact data migration initiative. This role will involve designing and building scalable ETL pipelines, developing complex transformation logic in SQL and C#, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including analysts, QA, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in backend development, data integration, and performance tuning in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to support large-scale data migration projects
  • Implement complex data transformation logic using SQL and C#
  • Analyze source and target systems to create effective data mapping and migration strategies
  • Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Troubleshoot data issues and ensure data quality and validation
  • Perform performance tuning of ETL pipelines and database operations
  • Work closely with analysts, QA engineers, and business teams to gather requirements and resolve issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in ETL development or backend software engineering
  • Strong hands-on expertise with SQL for profiling, transformations, and performance optimization
  • Proficiency in C# for building custom ETL components or scripting
  • Experience in data migration, data integration, or large-scale data processing projects
  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or custom ETL frameworks
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and database design princip
