We are seeking a skilled ETL Tester with expertise in database testing and exposure to automation frameworks. The role involves validating data flows, transformations, and integrations across ETL pipelines to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of business-critical data. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual database testing, including writing and executing complex SQL queries, analyzing results, and identifying data discrepancies.
In addition to ETL validation, the candidate should have hands-on exposure to automation testing, preferably in areas such as UI automation or ETL testing automation, to enhance testing coverage and efficiency. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts; executing functional, regression, and system testing; and documenting results to support quality assurance processes.
The ETL Tester will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements, design effective testing strategies, and ensure seamless data delivery across platforms. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in agile, collaborative environments are essential. Candidates with experience in both ETL testing and UI automation will be given preference, as this hybrid skill set supports comprehensive end-to-end validation.
