Trade Finance & Cross-Border Payments

Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager with a specialization in trade finance and cross-border payment systems to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial systems, trade finance processes, and international payment mechanisms. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to drive product development from conception through to market delivery, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of global trade and finance.
Key Responsibilities:Product Strategy & Vision:- Develop and articulate the product vision and strategy for trade finance and cross-border payment solutions.- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.- Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectiveProduct Development:- Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch trade finance and cross-border payment products.- Collaborate with engineering, design, compliance, and other teams to ensure product specifications and requirements are met.- Create detailed product roadmaps and manage the product lifecycle from inception to delivery and beyondStakeholder Management:- Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to gather requirements and feedback.- Communicate product plans, progress, and updates to stakeholders and senior management.- Act as a product evangelist, promoting the product both internally and externally.Market & Customer Insights:- Analyze market trends and customer data to inform product development and positioning.- Conduct user research and gather feedback to ensure products address real-world needs and challenges.- Stay current with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and emerging technologies relevant to trade finance and cross-border payments.Performance Tracking & Optimization:- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure product performance against these metrics.- Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization.- Implement strategies to enhance product adoption and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:Education:- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on trade finance, cross-border payments, or related financial systems.- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing financial products or systems.- Strong understanding of trade finance processes (e.g., letters of credit, trade credit insurance) and cross-border payment mechanisms (e.g., SWIFT, blockchain).
Skills:- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in trade finance and payments.
